Be GREEN! Be SAFE!

Steps to take if you get a chip or crack until you can get it repaired

Keep dirt and moisture out by covering damage with CLEAR Plastic Tape.

Don’t use anything liquid to seal the chip, such as glue or nail polish.

Do Not put pressure on the windshield.

Try to prevent quick temperature changes of your windshield.

Park your vehicle in a shaded area.

Try not to use the defroster. If required, use the lowest setting possible.

Leave the side windows cracked in order to keep heat from building up in the car.

Don’t wash the car. Pressure from the hose or the temperature difference between the water and windshield can cause the chip to crack out.

Don’t use sunshades. Sun reflects off these and increases the windshield’s temperature which can cause a crack.
